Navigating through the new normal in
the Event Industry.

Unlike a Face-to-Face Event, we recommend in order to produce a successful, engaging Virtual Gala; it should only be approximately 45-60 min long, putting a high priority on the Fund-A-Need Ask.

Content Strategies:

By being strategic in your messaging and content, you can take your audience on an emotional journey all while sharing information about your organization, success stories, video content, testimonials, possible entertainment and circle back to your Fundraising ask.

Hire an entertaining Host, Professional Speaker or Emcee and/or Professional Auctioneer.

Below is MTAV's suggested outline:

#1. Start with enthusiastic energy & excitement.

#2. Story-based content (video); quick introductions followed by Fund-a-Need.

#3. Proceed to entertainment, auction items, etc. (Keep entertainment short - 2-3 min).

#4. Include a few pre-recorded messages.

#5. Add a informational banner with the Donate Now URL throughout the event.

#6. Indicate funding status, additional auction items.

#7. Closing and thank everyone for attending.

#8. End with a picture slideshow, or entertainment or last message.

It is never too early to start.....

It's never too early to start writing and creating content for your Gala. A Virtual Gala is also a great backup plan to any postponed or cancelled events. Time to get creative.
