With our years of experience supporting Wedding bands, we have found that couples and event planners are looking for companies to take care of all the technical aspects. A one-stop Sound, Lighting and Technical Support. We work closely with your DJ and bands.
The responsibility of managing musicians, lighting or video elements often falls onto a DJ. Many DJ's are not comfortable or trained to properly support these requests. That's where we come in.
Often couples start approaching a DJ Service early in their planning. By hiring MTAV, you can rest assured we are prepared to support all your technical needs as your plans unfold all while providing an outstanding experience for your guests from start to finish on your Special Day.
MTAV's Role
Audio Engineer's Main Function:
Set up audio
equipment with a focus on proper audience coverage, intelligibility and impact within the ENTIRE room. Manage audio levels/microphones and multi-media as well as troubleshoot.
DJ's Main Function: Is to provide the soundtrack to the party. A Disc Jockey's primary focus is the DANCE FLOOR. They continually work to refine their craft and keep up with music trends. They are on hand to read the room and get your guests up out of their seats and on to the dance floor.
When working with MTAV, your DJ will only need to provide their DJ console and music library.
Our lead audio engineer will set up the audio equipment including digital audio console, assess the venue for proper audio coverage, utilizing additional speakers, if required, and prep the area for your DJ. The technician will continue to monitor sound levels throughout the full day into the evening.

The digital world has made many exciting advancements in our industry. We only supply pro-rated sound equipment and arm our audio technicians with a digital audio consoles to provide the optimum experience for your guests. The DJ mix is fed through the main console set up so the audio technician can represent the audience and adjust levels accordingly.

Adding an Element Live Music?
If you have chosen to add live music to a cocktail hour or reception, MTAV will help guide you through your technical decision-making, liaison with musicians on your behalf and make suggestions for any additional live music requirements, i.e. monitors, stage lighting.
For continuity, it is always a good idea to have your musicians run through our main sound system if they are not playing an acoustic instrument.

Clear Podium
FUNCTION: Add a little elegance to the speeches with a frosted podium. During the Speeches, your Emcee, family members and bridal party may love the extra comfort option of standing behind a podium especially if they have to read heir notes. :)
Projector and Screen Package
FUNCTION: A slideshow presentation is always a hit at a Wedding celebration. Our projector will need to be set on a table approx. 12 ft back from the screen to fill this 8ft tripod screen.
Additional Uplighting
FUNCTION: Used to create ambiance, a focal point ie. head table or utilized to create extra excitement during the dance reception. (This package includes 12 fixtures).
Additional Live Music Equipment Requirements
FUNCTION: A musician can't hear what the guests hear from their position. For optimum guests experience, we provide onsite live mixing and pro-rated sound reinforcement equipment. Additional equipment like monitors and specialty microphones may be required.
Gobo's and Monograms
FUNCTION: Add a beautiful Wedding monogram to a wall in the venue adding a little elegance. (Projectors or Leko Lighting fixture). Let's chat.
Monitors on Wheeled Stands
FUNCTION: The perfect small footprint solution for family slideshows presentations, monograms, used to compensate obstructions within a room or as a decor element flanking a DJ table or head table.
Truss Towers & Programmed Event Lighting
FUNCTION: Used for function and/or decor. Add intelligent lighting fixtures on truss towers for beautiful moving or still lighting effects and patterns in the room. Add white socks or plain aluminum truss.
