QSC K8 Powered Speaker - $55

This 1,000 watt powered loudspeaker is quite simply the new standard in lightweight speakers. With the ability to hook up a microphone or ipod directly into the back, this unit is perfect on its one when a full sound system is not required. 
Shure SM58 Wired Microphone - $10
The Shure SM58 microphone is one of the most commonly used microphones of our day. Note: When a microphone is plugged directly into the back of a speaker, it will not produce the same tone control as it would when using an audio console.
