With Vanz's passion being sound and Karen's desire to be more involved in our community, we decided to expand our AV Services to our home town and local communities and operate as a Full-Service AV Company.

Here is a little about what Vanz Zinn brings to the table.
Vanz Zinn
As a graduate of the industry recognized Fanshawe College’s “Music Industry Arts Program”, I moved right into a career as a Live Sound Engineer in the music industry. During this time, I had the honour of working with Juno Award Winning Artist Susan Aglukark for three years and toured Canada extensively. I also started to become more involved with live corporate events.
The corporate AV sector afforded me the opportunity to branch into other disciplines like visuals, lighting and technical direction. Over the last 35 years, I have traveled all over the world. I’ve done events in venues from the Skydome (now Rogers Centre) to a boardroom and in front of audiences of 15 to 15,000 people and everything in between.
Being a musician (drummer), I stay very in touch with music. I continue to be involved with the recording side of music but while music is a big part of my life, being a technician remains my focus. I have done thousands of corporate events over my career. Many of those events have included a live music element. I credit my success in the AV industry because I have significant experience in both live entertainment and corporate live sound.
The next step for me was SIMPLE. Opening my own AV Equipment Rental and Technical Services Company in my community. I am committed to bringing a high caliber of quality and service to our city. Helping Barrie continue to establish itself as the largest meeting hub north of the GTA and to be a part of building a stronger music scene in Simcoe County.
Our focus will be on taking the stress out of the technical side of LIVE EVENTS by providing on-site technical support, free site consultations and stocking our shelves with professional, state-of-the-art, user-friendly Audio-Visual equipment.
