A Blog Series Highlighting local Non-Profits in our Region

Multi Tech Audio Visual has had the pleasure of working with many non-profit organizations and charities over the last 4 years. We thought it would be beneficial to highlight some of these charities in a blog series giving them an opportunity to showcase upcoming events and help bring awareness to their cause. The first of our series is from Lupus Ontario.

In my opinion, often, as business owners, we tend to support the charities that either pull on your heart-strings or the ones we feel a personal connection. MTAV has walked and supported the Barrie Lupus chapter for a very dear friend who completely inspires us with her strength and gifts of a positive attitude.

Sharon and Gayle write:
Lupus is an auto-immune disease in which a person’s body attacks its own organs, tissues, muscles, tendons, joints, etc. Lupus mainly affects women and no two will experience Lupus the same way, making both treatment and diagnosis very difficult. There is no cure.

This year commemorates Lupus Ontario’s 40th Anniversary and we would like to make our walk our best ever so please come out and join us. Our walk is Saturday, May 26th at St. Vincent Park, Barrie, beginning at 12pm.

Visit www.walkforlupusontario.org for information on our Walks or www.lupusontario.org for more details about Lupus.

Walk For Lupus Ontario wishes to express our appreciation to MTAV for the rental of their equipment. The AV equipment allows us to effectively communicate with our walk participants, vendors and volunteers.

In gratitude,

Sharon and Gayle from Lupus Barrie

Unlike a Face-to-Face Event, we recommend in order to produce a successful, engaging Virtual Gala; it should only be approximately 45-60 min long, putting a high priority on the Fund-A-Need Ask. Content Strategies: By being strategic in your messaging and content, you can take your audience on an emotional journey all while sharing information about your organization, success stories, video content, testimonials, possible entertainment and circle back to your Fundraising ask. Hire an entertaining Host, Professional Speaker or Emcee and/or Professional Auctioneer.
